Shipping policy
DELIVERY
We offer same-day delivery six days a week (Monday ~ Saturday) for orders placed before 12:00 pm weekdays, and 9 am on Saturday. There is also the option of pre-ordering by selecting a future date. Orders are delivered between 10:00 am - 6:00 pm by Poppy Deliveries, a family-owned delivery business that offers careful, kind and professional service. We have a $18.00 flat-rate delivery fee for all deliveries across Canberra and Queanbeyan. Please contact us directly for regional/rural delivery rates.
Deliveries with time requirements on specific dates are available at a $25 flat rate fee. Please contact the store directly to arrange this. At least 24 hours notice is required for timed deliveries.
We require the recipient's contact phone number for all deliveries to business addresses, units, apartments and townhouses so we can ensure a safe delivery is made.
Every effort will be made to ensure your order will be delivered on the date selected during checkout. If this is not possible, SPIRAL will contact the respective clients and provide alternate resolutions, Poppy Deliveries will leave a calling card and await instructions on further action.
IF THE RECIPIENT IS NOT HOME...
Our experienced drivers at Poppy Deliveries will use their own discretion to decide whether it is safe to leave the flowers, if it is and the driver feels it is necessary, a calling card will be left in the recipient's mail box advising them where the flowers were left and at what time.
With regards to locked up, secure apartments, units, where the driver cannot gain
access to the building, if the recipient is not home, the driver will contact the
recipient to arrange a suitable time to return so that someone is able to accept the
delivery. At times, acting on advice from the recipient we can also leave the flowers
in an agreed to location as per their request.
CANCELLATIONS
You can cancel single orders by giving us not less than 36 hours notice prior to the requested delivery date. In those circumstances, a full refund will be given. If a lesser period of notice is given, we will only give a refund if we have not started the preparation of your order at the time notice is given. HOSPITAL DELIVERIES
Please contact the store directly via phone to enquire about a delivery to Canberra Hospital, Deakin/Garran - General Wards as they incur a delivery fee of $25.00. All other Canberra/ACT hospitals are accepted (including Canberra Private Hospital, Deakin) at our $18.00 flat rate fee.
