SPIRAL with us at our beautiful NewActon studio where you will be introduced to the world of floristry through seasonally curated classes. The innate connection between humans and nature is epitomised through the art of floral design, and with our teachings you will gain both practical and theory-based knowledge centered around seeing the natural world anew.

Each class will offer you the foundational skills of sustainable floral design and a thorough understanding of flowers and botanicals. We focus on creative, contemporary design, utilising locally grown product with reusable or compostable mechanics. Florals and foliage variety is guided by what is seasonally available, in complementary colour palettes. Enrolling in consecutive classes provides the opportunity to build upon past skills and acquired knowledge and further enhance your floral artistry. 

SPIRAL welcomes all persons of all abilities and advocates for a safe learning environment. Our studio is wheelchair accessible and classes can be tailored to suit individual needs such as chronic illness, disability, neurodivergency and mental wellbeing. AUTUMN CLASSES

VASE ARRANGEMENT saturday may 25 (3 pm ~ 5:30 pm)  ~ learn how to thoughtfully arrange a collection of blooms and botanicals in a vessel using sustainable, earth-friendly mechanics. 

WINTER CLASSES

focusing on natives, greens and whites

DRIED ARRANGEMENT saturday june 22 (3 pm ~ 5:30 pm)  ~ use naturally air-dried flowers and foliage to create a semi-permanent arrangement in a vase using sustainable, earth-friendly mechanics.
