Spiral with us at our beautiful NewActon studio where you will be introduced to the world of floristry through seasonally curated classes. The innate connection between humans and nature is epitomised through the art of floral design, and with our teachings you will gain both practical and theory-based knowledge centered around seeing the natural world anew.

SPRING CLASS
Hand-Tie Bouquet Class 20-09-2025 10:30am - 12:30pm
Learn to create a garden-style hand-tie bouquet with us using the spiral method of design. We will use seasonal, soft flowers and teach you all the tricks to create a perfect spiral stem structure. We will also teach you how to wrap your bouquet before you take it home. Recommended for beginners or those wishing to practice their hand-tie arranging skills.

Each class will offer you the foundational skills of sustainable floral design and a thorough understanding of flowers and botanicals. We focus on creative, contemporary design, utilising locally grown product with reusable or compostable mechanics. Florals and foliage variety is guided by what is seasonally available, in complementary colour palettes. Enrolling in consecutive classes provides the opportunity to build upon past skills and acquired knowledge and further enhance your floral artistry.
SPIRAL welcomes all persons of all abilities and advocates for a safe learning environment. Our studio is wheelchair accessible and classes can be tailored to suit individual needs such as chronic illness, disability, neurodivergency and mental wellbeing. FLOWER CARE
A great part of the beauty of flowers is their transient nature. The following steps will ensure your bouquet will provide maximum beauty in your home:
- Stems should be cut on an angle as soon as you receive the flowers and placed into a vase full of fresh water.
- Ensure the vase that is used is clean and filled full with fresh water.
- Always keep an eye on the water levels and change the water completely every two days.
- Ensure the flowers are protected from direct sunlight or air-conditioning.
DELIVERY & COLLECTION
We offer same-day delivery for orders placed before 12 pm and local delivery across the A.C.T. and Queanbeyan - Monday - Saturday for a flat rate of $18.00. Collection is available from our Acton store Monday - Friday - 9 am - 4 pm.
