AUTUMN 2025
Seasonal Hand-Tie Bouquet Class ~ 10:30 am - 12:30 pm Saturday 3 May
We will create a hand-tie bouquet using the spiral method of design to create a simple arrangement using locally grown, seasonal flowers in autumnal tones. This class is perfect for beginners or those who have no experience with floristry. Please note this class involves holding lots of flowers for an extended period of time; accessibility measures can be easily implemented by request.
Vase Arrangement Class ~ 10:30 am - 12:30 pm Saturday 17 May
We will create a foam-free vase arrangement using a chicken wire cage inside a ceramic vase, learning the basics of sustainable floristry practices. This is a fun, easy class where we will explore the versatility of the vessel and the beauty of re-usable floral mechanics. Recommended for beginners or intermediate students.
Native Hand-Tie Bouquet Class ~ 10:30 am - 12:30 pm Saturday 24 May
We will create a hand-tie bouquet using the spiral method of design to create a wild, organically shaped arrangement featuring Australian native flowers and foliage (sourced from East Coast Wildflowers, NSW). This class is recommended for those who have some floristry experience, please note we will hold lots of heavy flowers for an extended period of time, accessibility measures can easily be implemented by request.

~ 2 hour session including 15 min break
~ all florals, foliage, tools, mechanics, and sundries included
~ opportunity to photograph work before taking your floral creation home
~ tea/coffee and cake by Močan & Green Grout
~ optional written format of relevant floral and botanical theory with design instructions
Each class will offer you the foundational skills of sustainable floral design and a thorough understanding of flowers and botanicals. We focus on creative, contemporary design, utilising locally grown product with reusable or compostable mechanics. Florals and foliage variety is guided by what is seasonally available, in complementary colour palettes. Enrolling in consecutive classes provides the opportunity to build upon past skills and acquired knowledge and further enhance your floral artistry.
